This ministry doesn’t happen without the passionate commitment of the body of Christ and the volunteers being the hands and feet of Jesus pouring out the love of God in all that we do!  Ministry is taking place daily, weekly, and monthly at multiple levels!  We would love to have you join us on an even deeper level and see what God can do through faithfulness and simply being available to have Him work through you.

Adopt-a-block Team

Join us weekly to go into a community consistently and build relationships. Multiple platforms are available to serve.  What can you expect at Adopt-a-Block? It may look like visiting with people we already know, going house to house meeting new people, ministering to children through Powerhouse, doing a serve project, serving food, going out on a delivery team, visiting the elderly or handicapped, or having a fun night at the basketball courts near by.

Office Help

The organization of the Grand Rapids Dream Center as a vehicle serves, supports, and helps us multiply impact!  In order to have impact on the front lines with people, there is a lot that happens behind the scenes to fuel the organization.  There are various office tasks and projects where someone who has a heart for office and organization that can help continue to run efficiently and multiply.

Events

This is an area where almost anybody can serve and jump in at anytime. It also can one of the better areas where a whole family can involved as well. Sometimes this is one of the best areas to start involvement with the Dream Center when you are new or haven’t met a lot of people yet.

A normal Dream Center event consists of set up, preparing and serving food, fun games and activities for the whole family, interacting and connecting with people, music, demonstrations, Gospel message, distributing community needs(specific events), clean up, and tear down. There are outreach events and serve project events that are ministry oriented, and corporate events which help us with our organizational development to resource the areas of ministry!
