Become a Mentor at the Grand Rapids Dream Center

You don’t have to do something big to make a big difference.
At the Grand Rapids Dream Center, we believe lives are changed through relationships. As a mentor, you simply show up, care, and walk alongside someone who could use a little encouragement and support.

Why Mentor?

Many of the people we serve are going through tough times—poverty, addiction, isolation, or just feeling stuck. A mentor can be that steady voice that says, “You matter. You’re not alone.” That kind of impact is powerful.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need special training or experience—we’ll help with that. We’re looking for people who:

• Are 21 or older

• Can commit to meeting regularly (weekly or every other week)

• Are good listeners

• Have a heart to serve and love others

What It Looks Like

• One-on-one or small group connections

• Time spent talking, listening, encouraging

• Support from our staff every step of the way
