Thank you for taking the time to fill our our Powerhouse application!  We are excited to get your kids involved in the Dream Center.  Before getting involved with encourage everybody to review our beliefs statement at grandrapidsdreamcenter.org/core-beliefs/

WHAT:  Powerhouse Child and Youth Connection.  This is designed for a child and youth student to grow as a leader through Christ based discipleship.  We do this through positive Bible based messages and memory verses, activities, dinner, and fun!  We INVITE, ENCOURAGE, AND WANT parents to come and be involved.  Minimum age of 6 years old to participate without a parent.  Under 6 years old, a child must have parent involvement.  The maximum age is around 6th grade because we would be looking at connecting middle school aged kids to our Youth Discipleship Programs with the same goal.

WHEN: Every Tuesday, 6-8 pm. If we are going to be off we will communicate ahead of time

WHERE: 1026 Lafayette Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI 49507

FOOD:  Dinner will be provided free each week.

Drop-off & Pick-up times:

Drop Off Time: 6pm

Pick Up Time: 8pm

MAIN CONTACTS: Greg Molchan: greg@grdreamcenter.org  or 616-379-9380

WHAT TO BRING:  Be sure to wear proper clothes for the weather and appropriate shoes for the park.
Important Note On Phones: Phones may be collected and stored at the house until the program is over for safekeeping and to avoid distractions during program time.  If you need to contact your student, call the main contact/s.

Accountability:  We will let students know if they are not meeting expectations by misbehaving.

✔️1 – 1st warning:  Just a warning, ask them to check their behavior.

✔️2 – 2nd warning: We will respectfully pull them to the side and ask them to make adjustments to their behavior.

✔️3 – 3nd warning: If they don’t adjust and continue to misbehave, we will potentially call a parent or guardian to pick them up, or take them home, or have them finish the night with the understanding they will be missing the following week because of their lack of cooperation.
