YEAR END GIVING CAMPAIGN: Home for the Holidays

Help us buy a home in the Madison neighborhood!

A year ago, we had a vision to purchase homes in the Madison and Oakdale communities. These homes will deepen our community presence and impact. We will have discipleship classes, game nights, Bible studies, worship times and more. The houses will also serve to host our weekly Adopt-a-Block gathering which will offset the current cost of renting facilities in colder months. Basically, the community houses will become “home base” in the neighborhoods we serve.

A group of youth at ResLife in Grandville caught the vision and started us off strong by raising $30,000
toward the purchase of the home. Young people were babysitting, baking cookies, and digging deep to
give generously – we were so amazed, humbled and grateful!

Our 1 st Annual Dream Cup Golf Tournament raised another $35,523.76.
After our gala in October, a generous builder came forward and offered to help us build a home from
the ground up! This allowed us to design a home that will meet our needs and not have to worry about a major remodel or the challenges that come with purchasing an older home.

A week ago, we began the process of purchasing a piece of land in the Oakdale neighborhood, and the
plans are being drawn up now [Praise God!].

Now, we are believing God for the provision for our home in the Madison neighborhood. We need
$150,000 to make this happen.

We know you have abundant options when it comes to where to invest your year-end giving, and we are grateful that you would consider partnering with us to advance the mission of Grand Rapids Dream
Center and touch lives. These are more than homes, they are a statement to the community that says,
“You can trust us, we really aren’t going anywhere and you are worth investing in.”

Every gift matters, and we just want to say thank you in advance for your partnership and being a part of the story that is currently being written in the lives of so many people.
