Grand Rapids Dream Center Grocery delivery: Orders are taken starting on Mondays @ 9 am. Deliveries take place on Thursday between 10:30 am and 12 pm  Please call (844) 473-7326 x702 and leave a message if the call is not answered live.

Meals for Kids: Please spread the word that both GRPS and the YMCA in partnership with the Kids
Food Basket will be offering sack lunches/dinners for kids up to age 18, regardless of their
school, for pickup from 11:30am-1:30pm Monday to Friday from now until April 3 and potentially
longer if students are not back in school.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids are providing free take-out dinners and snacks to children and
families in need beginning Monday, March 16 at three club locations in Grand Rapids.
The meals will be available Monday through Friday from 4:30
p.m. to 5:30 p.m.Locations:

Food Baskets: Operation Fred – The Peter Meijer for Congress campaign is shifting energy from
political activities to serving others by delivering care packages to individuals in need in
Western Michigan. Packages will include canned goods, dry goods and hygiene products. Click here to

The State Unemployment Office will extend benefits to workers who are sick, quarantined or taking
care of family members who are ill. First responders in the public health community who became ill
or quarantined due to exposure are also eligible. Self-employed workers and independent contractors
who don’t have access to unemployment insurance will now have access to benefits. Click here to

Michigan Artist Relief Fund to help provide funds for music industry workers who have lost income
for the next 3 months (some cases further out) because of event cancellations or venues closing. We
take applications on Friday and you can find all if the info, from the requirements to apply and
opportunities for those who want to give at this link.

United Way has set up funds to help families with health care, financial resources and other
services. To help or volunteer click here. The organization has also launched a COVID-19 community
response fund to continue efforts to support families during the school closures.

USBG National Charity Foundation is offering grant assistance to bartenders and their families.

CHILDCARE

Gov. Whitmer just announced that the state is going to be
offering pop up childcare centers to give essential workers a place to take their children if their
current child care provider closes. The list would include but not be limited to medical
professionals, police and fire department employees, at least some government employees, and
sanitation workers. The official said the list of essential workers could grow to include key
